The Nisagra cyclone was formed in the Arabian Sea, reviewing the preparations for Nisarga . Nisarga takes the form of a cyclone on Tuesday night and a super cyclone at night. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the recession in the Arabian Sea has resulted in a severe cyclone that hit the coast between Daman and Gujarat on Wednesday afternoon.
Meteorological Director Jayant Sarkar told the media that 110 kmph of wind would blow in the event of a storm. Apart from this, there will be heavy rains in South Gujarat . He also said Nisarga will turn into a serious cyclone and cause huge damage to lives and properties.
Due to the cyclone, the coastal regions of South Gujarat and Saurashtra are already raining with strong winds. Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi wrote on Twitter:
"We have stocked things triggered by a cyclone situation partially of the West Coast of India. I wish you happiness. I encourage people to take all possible precautions and safety measures. "
Deep basins are concentrated around 670 km southwest of Surat, according to a meteorological station Tuesday as of an afternoon report. It will form a cyclone by 8:00 pm on Tuesday and a super cyclone by 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
When the cyclone hits the ground , its speed can reach 125 kmph near Daman in Gujarat and near Alibag (Raigadh, Maharashtra) on Wednesday afternoon.
Storms can cause heavy rains in Surat, Nabsari, Valsad, Dan, Daman, Dadarnagar Haveli in Gujarat, Mumbai in Maharashtra, Thane, Pulgar, and Rigad. Separately, light to moderate rainfall can occur in western Madhya Pradesh in Maraswada, Maharashtra.
The Meteorological Department advised people (especially fisherman) in South Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, and Karnataka not to sail by Wednesday. Storms can cause heavy to heavy rainfall in Konkan coast (Maharashtra) and Goa.
Home Minister, Amit Shah met with the National Crisis Management Commission in light of the potential threat of the cyclone. He reviewed the preparations made to address the likely situation. He also attended the meeting. Meanwhile, it is raining in many parts of Gujarat, the weather changed and it rained with strong winds.
The Southwest monsoon has arrived in Kerala, with more than expected rainfall in northern India. However, it is predicted that there will be less rainfall in eastern and northeastern India than in other parts of India.
A tweet from the Meteorological Department of India says:
"The southwest monsoon has hit Kerala," said Mrityunjay Mahapatra. The Meteorological Department said, "North India will experience quite normal rainfall, and Central India and thus the South will experience normal rainfall."
The weather in Bhavnagar changed just before the arrival of the hurricane. A strong wind hit Bhavnagar on Monday afternoon. Trees were uprooted in some places due to the strong wind. Here's an another tweet which says:
"In light of the potential for hurricanes, there's growing alertness within the southern Gujarat, Bhavnagar and Amreli districts. There may be a shower. There are winds in Surat, Navsari, Valsad, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Baluch, Bhavnagar and Amreli. It's likely to blow."
This cyclone is expected to cause severe damage to the lives and properties of people in the South-Western part of India.
This year 2020 is seriously the worst year in my as well as everybody's life for sure. It is also a year to take lesson and learn from. We have to be prepared always for any worse situation from now. As our Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, We have to be "Self-dependent"!!
